Over the last few years there been many drone cameras that have been released on the market but this drone is a little different with the new self-flying “throw and shoot” product from Lily claims to re-invent the idea.
The tracking device the drone will follow you around with no need for controls. It can start shooting a new video from the moment it is thrown in the air.
“Lily is the world’s first throw-and-shoot camera. It lets anyone create cinematic footage previously reserved for professional filmmakers,” said the company.
“Lily is waterproof, ultra-portable, and shoots stunning HD pictures and videos.”

A separate tracking device comes with a wrist case and is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a four-hour battery life that charges via micro USB. Lily uses an accelerometer, barometer, GPS, microphone and vibration motor. It’s now available to pre-order now at a reduced cost of $519 (£330) shipping in February 2016.
