Capcom and Nintendo today confirmed that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be released on 13th February, alongside the newly announced New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL handheld systems. A special New Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Edition including a slick custom-designed New Nintendo 3DS XL system and the game pre-installed will also release on the same day.
Join up with a traveling caravan of hunters to explore new lands and battle ferocious enemies in pursuit of the ultimate hunt.
Play alone in a robust single player experience or join up to three other players locally or, for the first time on Nintendo 3DS, online using a wireless broadband Internet connection. By playing the game on New Nintendo 3DS or New Nintendo 3DS XL, players can experience C Stick functionality and super-stable 3D that makes for more immersive gameplay.
Starting today, select Monster Hunter fans will receive early access to an exclusive demo for the game that includes both single and online multiplayer options.
A version of this demo will be available to all consumers in the lead up to the game’s launch on 13th February.
