King Digital Entertainment plc, celebrated the launch of the game’s sister title, Candy Crush Soda Saga, by turning The River Thames in London into a sea of purple Soda and floating giant illuminated replicas of candies from the popular new game under Tower Bridge.
Candy Crush fan and pop-star Nicole Scherzinger was on hand to trigger this magical Soda fountain display. Included in the giant Candy Crush Soda line-up was a glowing Soda Bottle, a Striped Jelly Bean, the brand new Cyan Candy, the infamous Colour Bomb and finally a seven metre high Candy Bear raised 20 metres into the air, transforming the iconic landmark like never before.

We think it’s a fitting celebration of the next instalment in the Candy Crush franchise and hope our players are as entertained by it as they are by our games.”

Later on the 20th, one of New York’s most famous city streets will also have its own ‘Sodalicious’ makeover to celebrate the launch of the game. This will be followed by a high impact marketing campaign in major cities across the world where city locations and transport hubs will be transformed by Candy Crush Soda.
