Gadget Show Live will host the world exclusive public hands on for Sniper Elite 3 from 505 Games and Rebellion Software months before it hits the shops. Sniper Elite 3 is the follow up to the 2012 UK number one hit Sniper Elite v2 and will be available on Xbox One, PS4, X360 and PS3.

Gadget Show Live is the UK’s leading consumer tech event and takes place 9-13 April 2014 at the NEC in Birmingham.

Gamers visiting the show will also be able to play Transformers Universe, the new PC MMO from Jagex Game Studios (also not expected to release until the summer) and a range of titles on Xbox One. The next gen console will be available to play alongside Kinect Sports Rivals (not available to buy until 11 April), the critically acclaimed and eagerly awaited Titanfall, described as the first big blockbuster of 2014, Plants v Zombies and Forza Motorsport 5.

Also exhibiting is Gaya Entertainment, a specialist in video game merchandise for brands including Titanfall, Call of Duty Ghosts, DOTA 2 and Assassin’s Creed.
At the heart of the Game Zone (powered by KICK Energy) is the 2014 Game Zone stage, which welcomes back Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries as stage hosts. Perhaps better known as Max and OB from Hollyoaks, Matt and Darren are gaming fanatics and presenters of the We Got Game YouTube channel.

“We can’t wait to be back on the Game Zone stage for Gadget Show Live 2014 after having such a ball last year,” they said. “The aim is to make every visit to our stage worthwhile for all our fellow gamers, so we hope visitors come along and get involved and don’t forget to check us out first at www.youtube.com/wegotgameuk.”

Matt and Darren will oversee five days of comedic activity, interactive events and prize giveaways, including celebrity interviews, game playing, the world’s greatest video game themed pub quiz and a very special personal appearance from YouTube superstar and Call of Duty gaming pro Ali-A on Wednesday 9 April. Ali-A has 3.6 million subscribers and over 700 million views on his YouTube channel. He first attended Gadget Show Live in 2013 where he drew massive crowds.

Visitors will be able to take part and compete for prizes across a wide range of games in the Tournament Zone. Sponsored by Plantronics Gaming, gamers can try out the Plantronics RIG headset and mixer while competing. The Tournament Zone is managed by Multiplay (who will also be managing the Game Zone stage and Minecraft Zone).

GAME Retail returns as the official Game Zone retail partner and will be giving away bundles of prizes to visitors from the Game Zone stage.
