Huawei also announced a new wearable device at MWC 2014, it features a 1.4-inch OLED display to give you feedback and information and the band incorporates a headset, so you can use it to take calls. It features dual mics and will give you 7 hours of talk time. The TalkBand B1 has USB charging, just like the Nike FuelBand it is also claimed 2 weeks of standby.
The TalkBand connects to your phone via Bluetooth 4.1, with NFC in place to ensure a quick and easy pairing process.
The band will give you a range of fitness functions, keeping track of your steps and calories, as well as offering a sleep monitor. It is IP7 water resistant, so there are no worries about wearing it in the shower.
The Huawei TalkBand B1 will be out first in China, then with a wider roll-out planned for Q2 2014, priced at €99.
