SQUARE ENIX  (Europe and PAL territories), has announce a Free Login Weekend for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN this coming weekend.

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn

With the release of A REALM AWOKEN, the Patch 2.1 update, myriad new adventures await in the realm of Eorzea. Whether you choose to brave the Labyrinth of the Ancients—the new 24-man raid—confront the primals in new extreme encounters, test your mettle against your fellow adventurers in the Wolves’ Den, or work with the Scions in thwarting the Ascians and their dark schemes, there is much to do in the newly awoken realm of Eorzea.

With so many additions and refinements to the game, we’re excited to have as many players as possible experience all that FFXIV: ARR has to offer. To that end, we’ve decided to host a Free Login Weekend! If you or any of your friends have purchased Version 1.0 and have yet to play—or are simply taking a break from—FFXIV: ARR, you won’t want to miss out on this limited-time event!
