“The new Mac Pro is our vision for the future of the pro desktop, everything about it has been reimagined and there has never been anything like it,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
Mac Pro will come with extensive connectivity features, including four USB 3 ports, six Thunderbolt 2 connections, a HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
“It’s not a stretch to say people have been blown away by this incredible new design,” said Apple’s head of marketing Phil Schiller.
“It is a computer that packs an incredible amount of power into one-eighth the volume of the previous model. It is our vision of the future of the pro desktop.”
