Sony has announced that they are bringing their waterproof Android Xperia Z Ultra and Z1 cellphones to the US market as an unlocked device. I’d prefer that these come with carrier subsidy support, but if these phones are for you, there is now the option to buy these unlocked with versions that will work with your US-based carrier.
