Microsoft Studios today unveiled new gameplay for the Xbox One adventure titles “D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die” and “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood” at Tokyo Game Show.

“D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die” Harnesses the Power of Kinect

Microsoft Studios and Access Games unveiled new details of “D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die” at the Tokyo Game Show. The episodic noir adventure follows the story of David Young, a detective with the ability to travel back in time who must use his power to solve his wife’s murder and prevent it from ever occurring.

“D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die” uses the power of Kinect to enable advanced gesture and voice control which reflect the hero’s actions and emotions in each scene, bringing the player into the game. “D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die” will be available exclusively on Xbox One.

“Max: The Curse of Brotherhood” Revealed on Xbox One

Debuting for the first time on Xbox One, Microsoft Studios and Press Play revealed features for “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood,” a follow-up to the popular game “Max and the Magic Marker.” Players will follow Max on his journey to find his brother, Felix, who’s been taken by a giant monster. Travel with Max through a mystical, blighted fantasy-world, using powerful magical abilities to overcome puzzles and enemies in order to save Felix before it’s too late.

Tokyo Game Show attendees can play “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood” for the first time this weekend. The game will be available on Xbox One starting in early 2014.
