Experience the sharp edge of politics in ArenaNet’s latest content update for Guild Wars 2, Cutthroat Politics, going live 23rd July. This update comes with an exciting twist: players, through their votes, will bring about permanent changes to the world of Tyria.
In Cutthroat Politics, a vacant seat on the Captain’s Council of Lion’s Arch is up for grabs and two powerful figures have emerged as the leading candidates. Players will have the opportunity to support either the war hero Ellen Kiel or the prominent merchant Evon Gnashblade to fill the seat and strike a lucrative trade agreement with the merchants of the Zephyr Sanctum.
This update is the second since ArenaNet officially confirmed its move to a two-week update schedule and represents the studio’s commitment to providing better content, faster, than any Western competitor. Cutthroat Politics also brings with it new events, rewards and features.
