Microsoft and EA have announced a new “strategic” partnership that includes Xbox One receiving exclusive FIFA 14 content.
EA’s Andrew Wilson revealed at the unveiling of Microsoft’s new home console that four of the big sports franchises – FIFA, Madden, NBA Live, UFC – will all be available to play on the successor to the Xbox 360.

He added on stage that the Xbox One will enjoy exclusive content for FIFA 14‘s Ultimate Team feature.

A brand new next-generation engine, EA Sports Ignite, was also shown off, designed specifically with their sports franchises in mind.

Wilson explained: “EA Sports Ignite is designed specifically to help us blur the line between the real and the virtual.”

He also claimed that the new iterations of their franchises will be “revolutionary” and “change the way you play”.
