Intended to be used with rifles that have either a Picatinny (Mil-STD-1913) or Weaver tactical rail system, this adaptor and iOS app team up to add some fun capabilities to your long gun, like the ability to shoot around corners, have access to a ballistic computer to help adjust for windage and the ability to record video and photos of your shooting adventures. Sandpoint, ID–May 15, 2013—Newly formed Inteliscope, LLC announced the launch of the Inteliscope Tactical Rifle Adapter and Apple device app. Development efforts are proceeding quickly and the company expects to have the product ready to ship in mid-June, 2013. Inteliscope is a creation of inventor and entrepreneur, Jason Giddings, who established TransluSense, LLC to bring to market the Luminae® glass multi-touch keyboard and touchpad. With production facilities in place and TransluSense development ongoing, Giddings took advantage of a lull to challenge his mechanical, software, and business teams to create the device on an aggressive 10 week schedule.

The Inteliscope mount system attaches an iPhone or iPod Touch securely to any firearm with a Picatinny (Mil-STD-1913) or Weaver tactical rail and sports a number of features:

  • Quick-Release Portable Protective iPhone or iPod Cover
