This year, iHome is featuring an expansive collection of its popular headphones – from Bluetooth and high-end, noise-canceling units, to its new FIT sport line and fashion forward styles. Additionally, many of the units offer new features, including the innovative Cord Cruncher Cable and iHome’s eco-friendly cord wrap hangtag packaging in select units. Headlining the new collection is the new luxury model:

  • iB85 Bluetooth Wireless Foldable Headphones With Mic, Remote and Travel Pouch: Enjoy dynamic, enhanced bass response and detailed sound with tons of high-end features including Bluetooth audio with built-in mic and convenient on-ear remote; padded ear cushions and adjustable padded headband; USB charging cable; foldable headband; and travel pouch for portability. (MSRP $99.99.)

  • Other new and noteworthy headphones include: iB10 Sport Earhooks with award-winning Cord Cruncher Cable (MSRP $19.99); iB22 Rubberized Noise-Isolating Headphones With Pouch (MSRP $14.99).

My favorite item that was shown in the iHome booth was probably the iBT44 Bluetooth Portable FM Stereo With USB Charging retrolook rubberized boom box.  Adding a Bluetooth connection to enable Android and other devices to connect is a great idea, the system looks like fun, and the sound is great.  MSRP will be $199.99.

In addition, I liked the iBT88 Bluetooth Rechargeable Mini Stereo Speaker System.  Here is how iHome describes that system:

Bring the party wherever you go with the iBT88 Bluetooth mini speakers. The iBT88 has two audio sources: Bluetooth wireless audio streaming from your mobile device (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Android, Blackberry smartphones) or direct line-in via the included cable and any device with a headphone jack.

FEATURES

  • Mini speakers for any audio source
  • Speakers work with Bluetooth-enabled devices OR any 3.5 mm headphone
jack, perfect for laptops, cell phones, portable game devices, iPad,
    iPod, iPhone, MP3 players, etc.
  • Size-defying sound
  • Special design provides surprising volume and bass response in a small
space-saving speaker that fits in your hand
  • Built-in rechargeable battery
  • Long-lasting internal lithium ion battery gives speaker plenty of power
  • Supplied cable for charging speakers and connecting to
    audio source
  • 2 -in-1 cable has USB plug for charging speakers, with 3.5mm audio
plug for connecting to audio source– you can charge speakers
    while listening to them
  • Convenient travel pouch
  • Though they fi t in the palm of your hand, it’s nice to have the
    convenience of a travel pouch
  • Power, pairing and charging LED indicators

The sound is pretty good for something that is this small; Bluetooth connectivity means that any device can connect to them, and the rechargeable battery means that you’ll get up to 6 hours of playback time between charges.

iHome showed off some nice speakers and headphones at CES this year!  We’ll keep you posted on any updates to their line.
