DVBLink v4.5.2 beta product suite from DVBLogic released

DVBLogic has released the DVBLink v4.5.2 beta product suite.


This is what DVB Logic posted:

The highlights of this beta release are:

  • Introduction of DVBLink package center
  • Support for NetGear and IOmega ARM-based NAS devices
  • Official support for DVB-C including CI functionality for DVBLink NAS products
  • Official support for HDHomeRun tuners for DVBLink NAS products
  • Added DVBLink EPG Loader for and DVBLink for Dreambox to supported products for a NAS platform
  • Sat>IP support
  • Improved support for North American stadards – ATSC and ClearQAM – in DVBLink TVSource, also for NAS platforms!

Below is the detailed list with fixes and additions per platform/product:

  • (all) Fixed: Server settings are not applied until server is restarted
  • (all) Fixed: Server settings are not saved after server restart
  • (all) Fixed: incorrect season/episode information is read from xmltv file (should be incremented by one)
  • (win) Fixed: server log has incorrect new line characters on windows platform
  • (win) Fixed: incorrect urls for image file://… items in MCE database
  • (all) Added: new DVBLink Package Center
  • (iomega) Support for IOmega ix2 and ix4 devices
  • (netgear) Support for NetGear ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 devices (both are ARM-based)
  • (nas) Added EPG loader
  • (nas) Added DVBLink for Dreambox TV signal source

DVBLink Connect! Server

  • (all) Added: DLNA audio track and network adapter selection interface
  • (all) Fixed: Setting program to record from the program search results in web interface does not work
  • (all) Added: Show date for recorded TV programs in web interface
  • (win) Fixed: iOS streaming does not work on Win8
  • (all) Aded: Current program is refreshed every 2 minutes on channel/current program screen of web interface
  • (all) Added: season/episode information in web interface and XBMC addin
  • (all) Added: child lock functionality for XBMC addin
  • (all) Added: smart (based on name/episode information) filtering duplicates for internal DVBLink recordings
  • (all) Fixed: slow loading and refresh of EPG information in channel EPG view of web interface

DVBLink TVSource

  • (all) Fixed: Transponders in TVSource config interface are sorted as strings and not as numbers
  • (win) Fixed: Tuning failure for dvb-t/c TBS tuners
  • (all) Added: Sat > IP support
  • (all) Fixed: Pid filtering does not work for HDHomeRun tuners (fixed by introduction of a new HDHR-specific device driver)
  • (all) Added: Digital Cable (ClearQAM) support
  • (all) Added: ATSC in-band EPG scanner
  • (all) Fixed: memory leaks in in-band EIT DVB scanner
  • (nas) Added support for TBS5680CI tuner (DVB-C)
  • (nas) Added support for TBS5980CI tuner (DVB-S/S2)
  • (nas) Added support for PCTV 801e and Hauppauge 950Q tuners (ATSC/QAM)
  • (nas) Added support for HDHomeRun tuner (DVB-C/T and ATSC/QAM)

A usual word of warning. The beta DVBLink products are tested and verified by us, but still may contain bugs. Be sure to make backup of your current DVBLink installation before renoving it and installing beta software.
