App Update: Podcasts app for iPhone, iPod and iPad updated to version 1.1.1

Apple has released an update to its standalone app for listening to and subscribing to podcasts, bringing support for iOS 6 and fixing an annoying issue.

I have tested the app and it’s very simple to use and now means I don’t have to sync podcasts through iTunes before syncing them to my device.

  1. The app is terrible. It freezes for the most part. When you add any subscriptions it crashes. There’s no way to remove the subscriptions unless you wipe your phone clean. It’s the worst piece of software I’ve ever seen.
