The Galaxy Note II

The Galaxy Note II is slimmer than its predecessor and slightly taller as well. It still fits fairly well in your hand, although it’s still quite a large device, but the screen quality is beautiful.

The New S Pen

One of the new enhancements for the Samsung Galaxy Note II is the S Pen, It certainly does feel better to use and easier to do things with.

I really liked the original Galaxy Note and I have to say that after using the Note II for only just a few minutes I was impressed. The new S Pen does make all the difference and some of the new apps are great. I really liked Air View, which is the feature then enables you to view something by hovering hovering over it – for example, I can see all the information from a calender entry by hovering instead of opening it.

Fear not if you have the original Galaxy Note as Samsung promised during the press conference that an update to Jelly Bean and some of the new apps will be coming very soon.

No specifics on price yet or which carriers will have it, but expect news soon as it will be released in October.
