You may have used VLC Player on your Mac or PC, and now there is a beta available for Android.
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player that plays most multimedia files as well as discs, devices, and network streaming protocols.
This is a BETA version of the port to the Android platform. It is intended for power users and hackers. This version is NOT stable and is slower than the final version.
What’s new in this version?
- The new beta improves stability, integration on Android 4.0 and 4.1, and adds some simple features.
- It notably allows VLC to be moved on the SDcard, improves the speed and fixes a lot of bugs and crashes.
