Sky have just updated its dedicated Sky Sports app for the iPad, bringing with it Split screen within Formula 1 Race Control if you are an F1 fan.

What’s New in Version 3.0

– Split screen within Formula 1 Race Control
– Sky Sports Channel listings
– Remote Record and set programme reminders on your iPad
– Cricket team pages
– Cricket teams as favorites

It’s free for customers who have access to the Sky Sports News channel as part of their monthly subscription, otherwise it will cost you £4.99 a month.
