Assassin’s Creed III is set for an October 31st release date, and Sony and Ubisoft announced a partnership to deliver unique content to those gamers who choose the PS3 and Vita games. First, here is a summary of the game:

Two Companies Bringing Added Game Missions, Items and Bundles to PlayStation®3 And PlayStation® Vita
Today, Ubisoft and Sony Computer Entertainment announced a partnership to give gamers exclusive content for Assassin’s Creed III on PlayStation®3 and for Assassin’s Creed III Liberation for PS Vita. SCE also will provide specially-priced bundles of each game for its systems.
This partnership provides PlayStation®3 gamers exclusive access to four downloadable single-player missions at the launch of Assassin’s Creed III. Along with these missions, gamers who purchase both Assassin’s Creed III for PlayStation® 3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will receive exclusive unlockable items for Liberation, including an in-game version of Connor’s tomahawk, an exclusive character skin, a multiplayer character and a complete upgrade of all ammunition pouches.
In addition, Assassin’s Creed III will launch in a bundle with a PlayStation®3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will be bundled with both Wi-Fi and 3G versions of PS Vita.
Both Assassin’s Creed III for PlayStation®3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation for PS Vita are scheduled to be released on October 31, 2012.
