Well, it is now available in the US from Amazon and Brookstone, so I ordered one and it arrived on Friday night. I’ll be doing a full review soon, but for now, enjoy these unboxing photos.
The box is attractively done.
The contents are well-protected. I intend to keep the box to keep my drone safely when not flying it into trees in my back yard.
It comes with the drone, an indoor hull with ring protectors for the copter blades, an outdoor hull without the rings, a battery, a charger and some stickers for the augmented reality games that can be played.
One welcome addition from the first version is the availability of a USB hub. This allows for recording directly to a USB thumb drive. The USB hub is included in the battery compartment.
And finally, here is my First Flight video taken by the drone while flying in my back yard. I do a brief cameo appearance in this video!
I’ll have a complete review posted soon, as soon as I learn to fly this thing, so stay tuned! Now back to the skies…or at least, the trees in my back yard!
