Google Maps are available on a number of different devices – now they have announced that they are finally available for the NES.

Google Quest

This is what Google said:

Google Maps is now available for 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment Systems (NES). Availability in Google Store is TBD but you can try it on your browser by going to http://maps.google.com and clicking “Quest” in the upper right hand corner of the map.

Google Maps for NES was such a big deal for Google that they ended up shipping it a day earlier than it’s planned April 1st launch.
