Samsung has today announced it will be offering a Premium Suite upgrade for the Galaxy Note, which includes extra multimedia features and a range of new S Pen optimised applications in addition to an OS upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). In addition, Samsung is the exclusive mobile partner for the launch of Rovio’s new Angry Birds Space game.

Ice Cream Sandwich brings an entirely new look and feel to Android on the Galaxy Note, with a more intuitive user interface that includes a redesigned App menu allowing for easier multi-tasking and easier sharing of content. Faster performance and response times across multiple applications make using the Galaxy Note even smoother; while Google Play provides one-step access to a raft of entertainment, including movies, games and books.

In celebration of the Premium Suite upgrade announcement, Samsung will be providing special offers to all Galaxy customers through its official launch partner status for Angry Birds Space, the latest blockbuster mobile game from Rovio Entertainment. For all Samsung Galaxy customers, an exclusive Galaxy Note level will be provided as well as a special package of 30 challenging levels – ‘Danger Zone’ – which will be available for free if unpacked within the 3-month period.

The Premium Suite is more than a software upgrade; it also includes the S Note and My Story. S Note is a unique tool that allows notes or sketches to be combined with other digital content, and its Shape Match and Formula Match applications help to correct and digitise geometric shapes and formulas drawn with the S Pen. My Story is another S Pen optimised application that allows customers to create personalised digital cards for their friends and family using any type of content including notes, video content, photos or text.

The Premium Suite also offers Video Everywhere which enables customers to watch video simultaneously while running any other applications on the Galaxy Note. The Video floats allowing customers to change its position anywhere on the screen and providing the flexibility to enjoy watching or listening to a video while reading, writing or even surfing the Web.
