Elgato today announced that its revolutionary TV tuner, EyeTV Mobile, is now compatible with iPhone 4S. Originally available to just iPad 2 users, Elgato expanded EyeTV Mobile’s functionality in response to tremendous demand from iPhone 4S users.

EyeTV Mobile is the first DVB-T tuner for the Dock Connector. Powered by a free, dedicated app that can be downloaded from the App Store, EyeTV Mobile offers a full range of TV viewing features: Pause, rewind, record, an integrated EPG with up to 7 days of detailed programme guide information, and more. EyeTV Mobile on an iPhone 4S requires iOS 5.1. It comes with a telescopic antenna, a rod antenna with a magnetic base, and a USB cable. The price for EyeTV Mobile is £99.95.

More than four hours of playtime on the iPhone 4S
Using state-of-the art TV tuner technology and very low power consumption, EyeTV Mobile delivers more than four hours of live television on a fully charged iPhone 4S. iPad 2 users can enjoy more than eight hours of live television. (Flight Mode activated, 30% brightness).

Antenna options for portable and indoor use
EyeTV Mobile delivers superior reception thanks to its state-of-the-art TV tuner and robust MCX socket which can connect to either one of the included antennas. The miniature telescopic antenna has been designed for maximum portability, while the rod antenna with magnetic base offers more positioning options for indoor use.

  1. Dont bother getting one, you have to use the coaxial plug just to get enough signal for this to work… you should just purchase a small tv instead for the price of this unit.
