BBC Global iPlayer App problems with iOS 5.1 Resolved

Earlier today we told you that If you had updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 5.1 and you use the BBC Global iPlayer app you might have some problems. Well those problems have now been fixed!

That was fixed pretty quickly, so well done BBC!

  1. It’s not fixed – I still can’t stream anything to my iPad on iOS5.1..! All programs are listed, but ‘unavailable’ if I try to play them. Damn!

  2. Nothing will stream – still. just get that damn pesky rotating wheel thing forever. Global iplayer was streaming beautifully for the last 2 months on appletv, now suddenly it won’t, precisely it stopped on Weds 14th March.

  3. it is not fixed how can BBC make claims like this. its a total waste on money refunds please
