After months of rumours, speculation and in some cases just down right nonsense, Apple has finally announces the all new iPad, and I want it.

A few of the new features include a retina display with 2048 x 1536 pixels, which is the best available on any tablet today. That equates to 3.1 million pixels!!!!

HD video recording is now at 1080p resolution with the rear camera being 5 mega pixels.

The new iSight camera also includes image stabilisation and noise reduction, face detection and auto focus.

It also has an A5X chip, with quad-core graphics.

There is even voice dictation included via a microphone button on the keyboard.

It will have the same 10 hour battery life as the iPad 2 with 9 hours on 4G.

And if you are in an area with 4G there is 4G LTE (shame I am in the UK really).

It will be 9.4mm thick, which is a little thicker than the iPad 2 and will weigh 0.64kg.

The New iPad is priced at just $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64GB. And $629, $729, and $829 for 4G. This is the same prices as for the iPad 2.

And it’s available March 16th in the US and a week later in the UK and Europe.

And pre-orders start today, so go get one ordered!

All I can say is I want, I want, I want!

What about you?
