The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is the latest handset in the Bold series and combines the best of both worlds with a 2.45” touchscreen, made from super-tough Gorilla glass, and BlackBerry’s iconic QWERTY keyboard – and it’s now available in the UK on Three.

Slim in design, the BlackBerry Bold 9790 comes with BlackBerry OS7 which offers a number of improvements. These include a 40 per cent faster browser, the integration of Wikitude Augmented Reality allowing users to see objects of interest through the camera view, and BBM6 which allows users to view and chat to their contacts from within other apps – including games – without ever having to leave the app.

Sylvia Chind, Head of Handsets said, “BlackBerry’s latest smartphone with it’s sleek and compact design looks and feels great. It comes packed with apps and now gives the option to pinch & zoom maps using the touch screen. Our award winning 3G network will bring the updated operating system to life so that our customers can be free to browse the web quickly and efficiently.”

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 will be available from £28 or £35 a month on The One Plan with all-you-can-eat data, 2,000 anytime, any network minutes and 5,000 texts.
