Using the Drive

Plugging the drive into my Windows 7 machine was simple and it was recognised immediately.

Performance Tests

Whilst the DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 USB flash drive is designed for USB 3.0, it will work on USB 2.0 and so we performed tests on both connections to show you the difference between the two.

USB 3.0 Tests

Using HD Tune Pro, the average Read speed was 217.9 MB/s.
