Microsoft have finally announced their plans for TV entertainment on Xbox LIVE by publishing a list of nearly 40 TV and entertainment providers. It looks very interesting.

Today we are happy to announce plans to roll out the next generation of TV entertainment on Xbox LIVE. We have nearly 40 world class TV and entertainment providers coming to Xbox LIVE including: Bravo, Comcast, HBO GO, Verizon FiOS and Syfy in the U.S.; BBC TV and radio in the U.K.; Telefónica in Spain; Rogers On Demand in Canada; Televisa in Mexico; ZDF in Germany; and MediaSet in Italy, that will begin rolling out to consoles in more than 20 countries this holiday.

So what do you think? I’m looking forward to testing it, although I’m not convinced my slow BT ADSL connection will be of much use!

Like you my ultimate limitation is the unreliable, slow ADSL connection. Been waiting for over 6 months for BT Infinity fibre and they have just moved it back another 3 months. However, this looks like it is worth moving the XBox to the Living Room for.
yeah, you are lucky that you “might” get it – we have no hope where we are. Cant even get cable!
