Performance Testing the SSD – 3 Gb/s Connection

We ran the Series 830 SSD through a number of performance testing applications, and the results are shown below:

Using HD Tune Pro

The Read test produced an average of 259.6 MB/s (the 470 scored 225.6 MB/s).

The Write test produced an average of 246.9 MB/s (the 470 scored 221.5 MB/s).

Using PCMark 7

I hope you are correct about the enhanced reliability of the 830. I do plan on purchasing one.

  That is what Samsung are saying, so I have no reason not to trust that. I am using one now as my main drive so I hope its true 🙂
