Here is the full information:

The Philips DesignLine Edge TV replaces sharp angles and dull black or grey borders with soft organic curves, a glass finish and a reclining white frame, providing the perfect combination of stunning design and exceptional performance.

The Philips 2.1 SoundHub Theatre system is the perfect compliment to the Edge TV. Adopting the same pure design philosophy with high quality materials and build, a reclined stance and shallow profile, and finished in white gloss and silver.

Together they make a stunning partnership for consumers who want a true cinematic experience and also want to add to the overall elegance. Top quality materials have been used in the construction of the Philips DesignLine Edge TV – a full width sheet of glass cascades down the front of the set, partly integrating with its slim white bezel but finishing clear at the foot to give the illusion that it is floating.

Designed to be placed on a low table, the ultra slim TV gently slopes back at six degrees for minimum visual disturbance and the optimal viewing comfort. The weightless, serene feel of the DesignLine’s form is further enhanced by minimised cable clutter and the Philips’ Ambilight Spectra 2 ambient lighting system.

Ambilight Spectra 2 projects light from the sides of the TV onto the wall behind, in an ever changing, immersive glow mirroring the on-screen action and drawing the viewer in by generating a far more immersive viewing experience.

Overall picture quality is first class thanks to Philips powerful Pixel Precise HD processing engine with 4 trillion colours and a new 400Hz Perfect Motion Rate plus LED edge lit backlighting allowing a 500,000:1 contrast ratio.

The Design Line Edge also offers the latest passive 3D technology, Philips Easy 3D, which uses affordable, lightweight and stylish glasses. Easy 3D brings effortless comfort to the 3D viewing experience while maintaining superb image quality, with sharp and bright images consistently delivered and limited ghosting.

The DesignLine Edge is also a SmartTV, offering a whole host of services in four different areas.

SimplyShare allows for easy Wi-Fi playback from a huge range of network devices such as phones, computers and tablets. Control allows control of your TV via smart phone or tablet apps or even a wireless keyboard.

NetTV now offers more apps than ever before as well as uncompromised open internet access. Last but not least Program gives an interactive and intuitive EPG as well as allowing live pause and playback via Smart USB recording.

Philips DesignLine Edge TV’s are available now in 32” and 42” screen sizes at John Lewis stores with an approximate selling price of £849 and £1299 respectively.

SoundHub Home Theatre

The SoundHub is one system designed to satisfy all audio needs.

For the first time in a mainstream audio system, Titanium tweeters ensure stunning performance and detail thanks to their exceptional rigidity and light weight.

The SoundHub is a 2.1 system but for realistic movie experience, the virtual Surround Sound system reproduces explosive action scenes, with a true sense of impact, throughout the room.

Featuring a full HD 3D Blu-ray, built-in WiFi streaming, Smart TV functionality and built-in dock for iPod/iPhone, the SoundHub home theatre gives you access to a wide variety of music or movies and without the need for additional cables.

Always dedicated to making life simpler, Philips has also ensured that both TV and home theatre system can be operated via the same remote control.

The Philips HTS9241 SoundHub Home Theatre is available from John Lewis stores at an approximate selling price of £699.
