Skype released Skype 5.5 Beta for Windows on June 20th. Here is what Skype had to say about new features:

We’ve also made our call controls easier to use, with a new, smarter toolbar and simpler buttons.
The biggest advance here would be the ability to integrate Facebook contacts and IM capabilities with Skype. I use Skype all the time to keep up with family back in Ohio, so I’ll be interested in these features.
