A QUICK WALKTHROUGH VIDEO

Obviously you can’t really get a sense of the software from some screenshots, so I did a very quick walkthrough of some of the features – enjoy. In fact, you could always watch this video through Boxee 🙂

THE BOXEE REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE iPHONE

You can download the Boxee remote control app for the iPhone from the Apple App Store for free. This app acts as a remote control for your installation of Boxee.

There are two modes – buttons, which is the usual controls or gesture, which you can use your thumb on the Boxee logo to move around the screen.

Setting it up took about 15 seconds and it was very easy to use.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Ok, so I have only used it for a little while, and what I have seen I quite liked, but at this stage I am finding it to be a bit slow and a bit flaky. Now I accept it is a beta and so I will continue to use it and test it and see if it gets better.

I also got Tim to have a look at it and he was having lots of problems with Hulu and Adobe Flash issues. So much so he spent several hours trying to get it to work without success. There were even posts in the Boxee forums which made it better but didn’t solve the problem.

Have you used the software? Tell us what you think about it…..
