Today (5th December) Honor just announced its latest flagship smartphone Honor View 10 called the Honor V10 in China at a media event in London.

Honor View 10 comes with a 5.99-inch full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio and ultra narrow bezels. The device is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 10nm octa-core SoC with an i7 co-processor, dedicated NPU aka Neural Network Processing Unit as we have seen earlier on Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones.

Honor View 10 runs on the Android 8.0 aka Oreo OS along with the Emotion UI 8.0 on top of it. There is a fingerprint sensor provided on the front and it comes with a 3750mAh battery non-removable with Huawei’s Super Charge fast charging technology that can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes.

On the imaging side, it features a dual-camera setup – a 16-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor with the same artificial intelligence engine we have seen in Mate 10 series of smartphones that provides Real-Time Scene and Object Recognition functionality to automatically choose the perfect camera settings. On the front side, there is a 13-megapixel camera with A.I selfie portraits and face unlock provided.
