Starting today, a minor update will be rolled out preparing your WP7 device and Zune client for upcoming updates. The major update that most have been waiting for with “copy and paste”, know as “NoDo” is still scheduled for March and won’t be included in the minor update being rolled out this week.
Updates will be pushed out on a rolling schedule. Some may get the notification earlier than others. Not to worry! If you don’t get it today, you will get it tomorrow or in the days that follow.
This update won’t actually deliver any new features but rather “pave the way” for the NoDo update in March.
Before updating your WP7 device. We suggest you check and verify that you have the latest Zune Client version installed on your Computer. If not, install the update and restart your computer prior to updating your Windows Phone device. Click these links for help and support.
